FRENCH EMBASSY IN NEW YORK WHICH

THEN TRAVELLED TO THE BASS MUSEUM OF

ART IN MIAMI, FL.  THE CUNARD 150th

ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION WAS CELEBRATED AT

THE FORBES GALLERY ON FIFTH AVE, NYC.

 

 
"HOMMAGE AU NORMANDIE" HAS BEEN REGARDED AS THE LARGEST EXHIBITION OF SS NORMANDIE ARTIFACTS
 
EVER ASSEMBLED, ACCORDING TO THE NEW YORKER MAGAZINE.  2OO ARTIFACTS INCLUDING PAINTINGS,
 
SCUPTURE, FURNISHINGS AND ORIGINAL SHIP'S FURNTURE (circa 1932-39) WERE FEATURED FROM 46 INTERNATIONAL
 
SOURCES  INCLUDING THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART.  THE DESIGN FOR THE LIMITED-EDITION PRINT
