Charles Freeman is a professional fine art photographer whose work reflects a refined blend of timeless elegance and contemporary vision. Charles’s creative journey spans a dynamic career in the arts and design. Trained at Pratt Institute with a degree in Communications Design, he began as a fine artist working in oil on canvas and later built a distinguished career in New York City as a graphic designer, art director, and museum exhibit designer. Relocating to Palm Beach, he expanded his expertise to include high-end interior design and art gallery direction, deepening his curatorial approach.
The artist was introduced to photography at a very early age as his father, also a skilled photographer and a brilliant chemist, once worked at Eastman Kodak in Rochester, N.Y. and later taught photography at Washington D.C.'s Cosmos Club where he was an active member. Freeman studied photography with the U.S. National Park Service as a teenager and later while completing his design degree at Pratt in New York. For a time, he enjoyed the privilege of assisting gallery director Holden Luntz of Holden Luntz Photography in Palm Beach. His artworks have been seen and enjoyed at the National Arts Club, N.Y.C., New York's annual ArtExpo as well as in many private collections.
