Collection CADRES ET RÉFLECTIONS
This new limited edition collection, CADRES ET RÉFLECTIONS, presents French fine art and architecture in redefined spaces. The "Cadre", which means "frame" in French, found in each image is sometimes seen as a reflection or an ornate setting for 17th and 18th century treasures. Here the high style of French Baroque designs are now given completely new purposes, to perfectly frame a work of art, a jewel, a painted surface, a priceless museum sculpture or even the flowers found nearby in the peaceful gardens of Versailles. Unusual juxtapositions of scale, time periods and surfaces are blended seamlessly to bring into focus a new vision classically grounded in the past, but decidedly much more alive in the present.
